Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Naralytics (“Naralytics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our website and services (collectively, the “Service”).
By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we may collect information such as your email address and other information necessary to create and maintain your account.
Conversations and User Content
Naralytics allows you to provide information about personal situations and relationships in order to receive an AI-generated perspective.
Depending on your settings and how you use the Service, this may include:
- Messages and other content you submit to Naralytics;
- Information about people or situations described in your conversations;
- Your questions, prompts, and requests; and
- AI-generated responses provided through the Service.
Because conversations may contain personal or sensitive information, you should avoid providing information that you do not want processed by the Service.
Usage and Technical Information
We may automatically collect certain information about how you access and use the Service, including:
- IP address;
- Browser type and version;
- Device type and operating system;
- Pages or features accessed;
- Dates and times of access;
- Diagnostic information; and
- Other technical information reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
Payment and Subscription Information
If you purchase a subscription, payments are processed through Stripe. We may receive information from Stripe necessary to manage your subscription, such as payment status, subscription status, billing dates, and limited payment-related information.
We do not intend to store your complete payment card number on our own systems.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, maintain sessions, remember preferences, understand usage, and improve the Service.
Some cookies may be necessary for the Service to function, while others may be used for analytics, functionality, or other purposes depending on the technologies we use.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- Create and manage user accounts;
- Process subscriptions and payments;
- Provide AI-generated responses and perspectives;
- Process and maintain conversations when you choose to save them;
- Provide customer support;
- Communicate with you about your account, subscription, security, or the Service;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical problems;
- Monitor and analyze usage of the Service;
- Improve the functionality, performance, and reliability of the Service;
- Comply with legal obligations;
- Enforce our agreements and policies; and
- Protect the rights, safety, and property of Naralytics, our users, and others.
We may also use information for other purposes disclosed to you at the time of collection or with your consent where required.
3. AI Processing
Naralytics uses artificial intelligence to generate responses based on information you provide.
Our AI services are provided using third-party AI technology, including models and services provided by Anthropic.
When you submit information for processing through Naralytics, relevant information — including raw story text you have chosen to save — may be transmitted to our AI service providers so that they can process your request and return an AI-generated response. This happens for every read, follow-up, reverse mirror, strategy output, and pattern synthesis the Service generates.
Anthropic does not use the content you submit to train or fine-tune its models. This is true regardless of whether that content is otherwise retained by us.
Naralytics cannot independently verify the facts, circumstances, motivations, intentions, or feelings of the people involved in a situation you describe.
AI-generated responses are therefore perspectives or possibilities rather than verified statements of fact.
You should not rely on an AI-generated response as a definitive determination of another person's thoughts, feelings, motivations, intentions, or behavior.
4. Service Providers
We may use third-party companies and individuals to help us operate the Service, including providers that assist with:
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure;
- Authentication and account management;
- Database and data storage;
- AI processing;
- Payment processing;
- Analytics;
- Security;
- Customer support; and
- Other services necessary to operate the Service.
Our service providers may process information on our behalf and are expected to handle information in accordance with applicable contractual and legal requirements.
Naralytics currently uses or may use services provided by companies including Google/Firebase, Anthropic, and Stripe. Specifically:
- Google/Firebase provides account authentication (sign-in) and hosts our entire application database (Google Cloud Firestore). All account data and user content described in this Policy — including conversations, relationship labels, mirror and strategy content, subscription state, and technical logs — is stored there.
- Anthropic processes content you submit to generate AI-powered responses, as described in Section 3.
- Stripe processes payments and holds subscription/billing status, as described above.
The specific information shared with each provider depends on the functionality being used and how the Service is configured.
5. Our Commitments to You
Beyond the practices described in this Policy, we make four specific commitments:
- We will never show your content to another user, or let another user's content reach you.
- We will never build a profile of the people you describe by combining what different users say about them.
- We will never use what you write to train or fine-tune any AI model.
- We will never sell your data, to anyone, for any reason.
These commitments also appear in the plain-language privacy notice available within the Service. This formal Privacy Policy is the governing legal document; where the in-app notice and this Policy differ, this Policy controls, and we will work to keep the two consistent.
6. When We Share Information
We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
Service Providers
We may share information with service providers that process information on our behalf to provide and operate the Service.
Business Transfers
If Naralytics is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of Naralytics, our users, or others;
- Detect, investigate, or prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, or other unlawful activity; or
- Enforce our agreements or policies.
With Your Consent
We may disclose information for other purposes when you have provided consent or otherwise directed us to do so.
Public Areas
If the Service provides functionality that allows you to voluntarily make information publicly available, information you choose to make public may be accessible to others.
Naralytics does not intend to make private conversations publicly available simply because they are processed through the Service.
7. Conversation Data and Storage Settings
Naralytics allows you to control whether your conversations are saved to your account history.
When conversation storage is turned on, conversations may be stored so that you can access them through your account and return to them later.
When conversation storage is turned off, Naralytics does not intentionally save the conversation as part of your account history.
However, turning conversation storage off does not necessarily mean that no copy of information exists anywhere during or immediately after processing. Information may still be temporarily processed or retained in technical systems, security logs, backups, or by service providers as necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, or comply with legal requirements.
The exact handling of information when storage is turned off depends on the technical configuration of the Service and the systems used to provide it.
You should therefore avoid submitting information that you would not want processed by Naralytics or its service providers.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account information and content until you delete it, or delete your account. We do not currently automatically expire or purge information on a fixed schedule.
We may also retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:
- Provide and maintain the Service;
- Maintain your account;
- Process subscriptions and payments;
- Provide customer support;
- Maintain security and prevent abuse;
- Comply with legal obligations;
- Resolve disputes; and
- Enforce our agreements.
The retention period for information may vary depending on the type of information, how it was collected, whether you have enabled conversation storage, and our operational, legal, and security requirements.
Where you choose to save conversations, those conversations may remain associated with your account until you delete them or otherwise request deletion, subject to applicable retention requirements.
Information processed by third-party service providers may be retained according to their applicable policies, contracts, and legal obligations.
9. Exporting and Deleting Your Information
Export. You can request a copy of your data from your account settings ("Export my data"). This export is provided as a JSON file — a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format — and includes your account settings, relationship labels and baseline descriptions, saved conversations (including your raw text and the responses you received, where you have chosen to save them), and pattern-feedback records. It does not currently include internal usage or diagnostic logs that are not part of your conversation history.
Deletion. You can delete your account and associated information directly through the deletion functionality provided within Naralytics.
When you request deletion through the Service, we will take reasonable steps to delete your information from our systems, subject to applicable law and any information we are required or permitted to retain.
Deletion may not be immediate in every system. Certain information may remain temporarily in backups, security logs, or other systems as necessary for legitimate operational, security, or legal purposes.
If you are unable to use the deletion functionality within Naralytics or have a question about deletion, you may contact us at:
10. Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have certain rights concerning your personal information.
These may include rights to:
- Know or access information we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate information;
- Request deletion of information;
- Request information about how your personal information is collected or used;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
- Exercise other rights provided under applicable privacy laws.
You can delete your account and associated information directly through the deletion functionality within Naralytics.
If you are unable to use the deletion functionality or need assistance exercising another privacy right, you may contact us at:
We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
Your privacy rights may vary depending on your location, and certain exceptions or limitations may apply.
11. International Data Transfers
Naralytics and our service providers may process information in countries other than the country in which you live.
As a result, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in jurisdictions that may have privacy laws different from those in your jurisdiction.
Where required by applicable law, we will take appropriate measures for international transfers of personal information.
12. Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
We apply field-level encryption to sensitive fields in our database. We do not use end-to-end encryption. Our systems must be able to read your content in order to generate reads, mirrors, strategies, and pattern summaries — end-to-end encryption would make that impossible. We're disclosing this limitation directly rather than leaving it to be assumed.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure.
Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
You are also responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for using the Service in a secure manner.
13. Children's Privacy
Naralytics is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under the age of 18.
We obtain an affirmative representation of age from every user, including those who use the Service anonymously, without creating an account. For an account holder, this is combined with acceptance of these policies during sign-up. For anonymous use, it is a single confirmation you provide before your first analysis begins — no account, email, or other information is collected to obtain it.
If you are under 18, you may not use Naralytics or provide Personal Information to us.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a person under 18 has provided Personal Information to us, please contact us at:
If we learn that we have collected Personal Information from someone under 18, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information from our systems, subject to any information we are required or permitted to retain by law.
14. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, applications, or services.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of third-party services that we do not control.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of third-party services before providing information to them.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we make changes, we may update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice where required by applicable law, such as through the Service or by email.
Your continued use of the Service after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means that you acknowledge the updated policy, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
